I have two things that would interest me.

1.) Tips for cool FTF presents. And is there a place somewhere to find cool templates for FTF certificates?

2.) The ideal caching bag. I currently use a Travel Bug shoulder bag. I like it for its quick accessibility but it only hold a certain amount of stuff so I am considering upgrading to a bigger backpack, but only if I find one that is really cool an convenient for caching.

Something I have learnt, if possible back up your Geocaching data. I once had my Garmin crash just outside the British Museum in London and when I got it running again all my data was gone. We spent the rest of the trip using the wireless transfer feature to send caches from my husbands device to mine, but that can be a pain to use.

We only have the Fun with favorites so far. Got that one when we spontaneously decided to take in the Mega am Meer in Bremerhaven about a month ago. While there we did the one Mystery there for which you have to collect all sorts of pieces of information all somehow relating to the maritime museum. That one was really fun and worth something around 70 fav points I think.

But sadly we don’t really get the chance to get out much right now. Our 9 month old keeps us busy and on top of that we have a whole bunch of things needing attention relating to house and family and most of those tend to end in total chaos and needing to start almost from scratch once you finally get to them.

Planing on it, once I actually get a chance to test it which might take some time in our current chaos.

I am pretty happy with my Montana 600. My husband has an Oregon I think. It apparently has a problem with the compass which sometimes points in the opposite direction. This has led to a lot of cursing over time and once it came flying past me out in the woods 🙂

For spontaneous checks for something close by while on the road I love the iPhone App. I haven’t had a real chance to test the Apple Watch extension out in the field yet. My fist impression is that the overall design is quite good, but it seems to have issues with crashing and freezing.
