I have 3 GPS Units
I started with a GPSmap 76csx
It is a great unit. What made me buy a new one is its 1000 cache limit, I usually travel in an area that has 4000+ caches.
My next unit is a Magellan explorist 310. I used it for about 1 year. I loved the 10000 cache limit.
My current GPs is an GPSmap64s
I made the switch back to garmin because I missed My maps, ( I did load other maps to my Magellan) The electronic compass ( now 3 axis ) and the screen on my magellan was quite hard to read without readers.
I love the fact that I have over 17000 caches loaded with no problem. I can read the screen and I have my electronic compass back. I like the buttons over touch screens. I can control the unit by feel! Another plus for me is the addition of GLONASS, the unit locks on to my postion quite quickly.
I do still use the other GPS units as a backups and to loan to Muggles Im introducing to caching.
